Based in Tampa, FL, Face 2 Face is a freelance web design venture that I started after having graduated college. It really was an excuse for me to test my creative abilities and web development skills while working full time in internet marketing. Over time, I learned that a vast majority of sites do not follow current web standards. A plethora of problems stem from sloppy backend code such cross-browser compatibility issues, poor search engine optimization results, and slow load time.

My love for clean design and flawless code led me to tableless design, or CSS 2.0 standards that do not rely on using table tags for multi-column web page layouts.
It's true that almost anyone can create a website. Although to a competent developer, design means more than just nice graphics. Web design is about planning and executing a site that reflects your goals - whether for personal or business purposes. The surface appearance of a website is just part of this. Other extremely important factors include:
- simple navigation
- easily readable content
- optimized downloads (small image filesize) for faster accessibility
- pertinent keywords and metatags that help major search engines find your site
- consistent layout, design, and color scheme
- sufficient message to your viewers
